I created this so that I could put some of my thoughts and experiences down in one place. I think writing about it will help me to understand things better, or at least know what there is to understand, or not understand. If it somehow edifies the reader, so much the better.

As a bit of explanation, I feel as though I am a cat. Not a domestic cat, but a wild feline, species not pinned down, and not for lack of trying. One of the small cats, living in tropical rainforest area. Size about 1 m, for the body. Highly territorial. May hunt or form social bonds with a mate.

A few months ago I started "daydreaming," as I call it, allowing cat to wander, and to do what she does (resting, hunting, defending territory), and to speak. Interestingly, I got an impression of a specific individual, with specific experiences I have not had (raising kittens, and their subsequent death at different ages, interactions with own and other species, and so on). Whether this represents a connection to an actual specific animal who does, or did exist, or is just the product of my imagination, I don't know.

Cat also "communicates", to me (another part of myself, perhaps you could say) in a sort of specialized, broken English. Since it's "me" talking, I know what she means, but I'm still observing the vocabulary and syntax, because it's pretty interesting.
